The leaders of Advance Financial have recruited the former general counsel of Direct General and Electronic Funds Source to hold that same position at the short-term loan and financial services firm.Scott Bojczuk comes to Nashville-based Advance Financial as chief administrative officer and general counsel and will report directly to CEO and Chief Experience Officer Tina Hodges. He was GC and secretary at EFS from April 2013 until this summer, when he left after helping lead the integration of the corporate payments company into rival WEX Inc. after a $1.4 billion deal. Before that, he spent six years at Direct General, which he helped take private in 2007 as an operating member of investment firm Calera Capital."Scott brings the right mix of talent, experience and resources to help us thrive in our next level of growth," Hodges said. "We are thrilled to welcome him to the Advance Financial family and look forward to seeing where his leadership will take us."At Advance Financial, Bojczuk will oversee compliance and legal affairs work as well as office and facilities management, the Advance Financial Foundation and the company's corporate social responsibility efforts.Advance, which was launched in 1996, finished 2016 with $149 million in revenues, nearly triple the number of three years prior.
